  1. National Identity Document (DNI) of the grantor and identification of attorneys with their DNI.
  1. ID of the person granting the power of attorney.
  2. Identification of the person receiving the power (attorney-in-fact), by declaration.
  3. Attorney’s details (name and surname). It is advisable to provide the bar association number.

  2. Identification (D.N.I, marital status, profession and address) of the person receiving the power, by declaration.
  3. The client must consider and state whether they want the power of attorney to have effects only in the event of their subsequent incapacity, or whether they want it to have effects from the granting and to remain in effect in the event they become incapacitated.

The National Identity Document (DNI) of the person granting the power of attorney will be required, and it will also be verified whether they have the authority to grant such power on behalf of the company. The company’s articles of incorporation will be required, showing that they are the sole administrator or, if there are several, that their powers are joint and several. If their powers of representation are joint, the power of attorney must be granted jointly with the other administrators, according to the content of the articles of incorporation and the appointment of administrators.
